Described by the ancient Indian scriptures as communion of individual soul (Jivatma) with the Universal soul or God (Paramatam). 'Yoga' the ancient Indian discipline, is highly relevant in the modern day context. With tension and stress becoming a part of our daily life 'Yoga' enables us to achieve self-realisation in a systematic manner. By helping the union of the body with the mind with the soul, it creates the ultimate symphony of life. Different forms of Yoga i.e. - Hatha Yoga, Raja yoga, Karma yoga, Bhakti yoga, Jnana yoga, Mantra yoga and Laya Yoga, provides the finest system of education and brings out the best in a person. Self-realisation being the ultimate goal of human existence, we search for a medium to achieve it.
Yogic exercises or Asanas provide us with a healthy body, which is turn acts as a perfect medium. These asanas are not just physical asanas act as a bridge that unites the human body and mind with the soul. Since ages Rishikesh, the land of yoga, has been a spiritual center for learning yoga. Several Ashrams organize the daily morning yoga classes under the expert disciples of Yogacharya Shri B.K.S. Iyenagar the world renowned Yoga Guru and prepare itinerary (programs) as per the Group's requirement, experience and time in hand. The participants start their day with asana practice sessions.
Yogic diet is session for breakfast and lunch. During the day, technical aspects of yoga are discussed followed by demonstration and practice of asanas. There are consultation sessions, where problems and their remedies through Yoga are discussed. Apart from yogic training and instruction, the participants engage themselves in various cultural activities. On the first day they are taken to Triveni Ghat where they witness the awe inspiring Ganga Arti.
During the course the participants visit the leading ashrams of Rishikesh and indulge themselves in local sight seeing and souvenir hunting. Apart from teaching the participants an extremely exciting new way of life, also offers a major platform for exchanging and sharing of ideas, understanding different cultural modes and promoting universal brotherhood.
