Triveni Ghat (1 km.): A bathing ghat where every evening an `Aarti' to River Ganga is performed. Triveni Ghat is so called because it is believed to be the confluence of the Ganga, the Yamuna and the legendary Saraswati River.

Bharat Mandir (1km.): The Bharat Mandir is oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. This temple is dedicated to Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Ram.

Shivanand Jhoola (2km.): Known as Ram Jhoola, this is a recently completed suspension bridge, which spans the river near Swarg Ashram, Geeta Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan and renowned Chotiwala Bhojnalaya etc.

Lakshman Jhoola (3 km.): A suspension bridge across the Ganga along the old route to the holy shrines of Badrinath and Kedarnath. It is believed that Ram's brother Lakshman corssed the river here on a jute rope.

Ashrams & Yoga Centres (within radius of 3 km.): The main Ashrams at Rishikesh are Shivanand Ashram, Muni- ki -Reti, Mahesh Yogi Ashram, Shankaracharya Nagar, Swarg Ashram, Gita Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan, Ved Niketan, Yoga Study Centre, etc.

Neelkanth Mahadev (12 km.): Altitude 1500 mtrs: The Neelkanth Temple is situated on top of a hill across the Ganga. According to mythology, after the Sagar manthan Lord Shiva drank all the effluent venom here, which turned his throat blue, hence the name Neelkanth.

Shivpuri (16 km): Hill drive and a renowned place for white water rafting.

Narendra Nagar (16 Km): A Hill drive from where we can see the SUNSET and view of Rishikesh city.

Wild Life-Rajaji National Park (1 km -18 km Chilla): The diverse topography and climate of hill of Uttarakhand gives its rich wealth of wild-life which includes tigers, leopards, foxes, jungle-cats, reptiles and birds pigeons blue-jars, king fishers, King Cobra and Wood Pecker etc. widely spreaded in 820.47 sq. kms. area.

Vashishatha Gufa (25 Km.): A cave where Swami Ram Krishna Paramhans completed his meditation on hill and on the bank of Holy River Ganga, a memorable place to see. It is a spiritually activated center managed by the disciples of Swamiji.

Kunjapuri Temple (27 km): Altitude 1645 mtrs: Oldest Temple of Goddess on the hills gives very beautiful sceneric views also. The people of the hills celebrate festival during the Navratri days in this temple and it has 108 stairs to reach. A beautiful and a spiritually activated center.

Kaudiyala (35 km.): Hills drive and renowned place for rapids for white water rafting.

Deoprayag (70 km.): Deoprayag is regarded as the most complete showcase of legends, heritage & traditions, here the Bhagirathi from Gaumukh & the Alaknanda from Satopanth unite and for most Indians, this confluence is no less holy than the Sangam at Allahabad. These three rivers flowing majestically through sculptured channels carved through the rocks have carved angular blocks of land around the confluence & the town is set into these three angles. Located at a height of only 618 mtr., Deoprayag is an invocation to the gods who have generously endowed this spot with tremendous natural beauty. It is believed that Lord Rama and his father King Dashratha did penance here. The temple of Raghunathji houses a tall image of Lord Rama made of black granite. The most celebrated event at Deoprayag is the congregation of devotees, who come here to worship at Raghunath temple. The most revered temple has the sculptures on the walls which display both Buddhist & South Indian influences. The presiding deities of the temple are Raghunath, Janaki & Lakshman. One quaint custom here is that all the pujas are conducted by Telugu speaking priest, descendants of centuries- old settlers. There is also a small temple popular as Bharat Mandir of Rishikesh in recluse. It is said that on fearing attack by Aurangzeb the pujaris from Rishikesh installed the same idol at Deoprayag as makeshift arrangement & later took it back to Rishikesh.

Chandrashila 72km from Rishikesh near Deoprayag, in the centre of the Bhagirathi River, rests a gigantic boulder named Chandrashila. Legend has in that it was on this boulder; King Bhagirath undertook his severe penance for the salvation of his 60 thousand ancestors. It is believed, one holy dip & your wishes can come true, and such is the religious significance of this place.

Chamba One of the brightest sports of Tehri Garhwal, at 1676 mts. Chamba is just 60 kms. From from Rishikesh. This quaint town offers one of the most spectacular views of snow capped Himalayas and the enchanting Bhagirathi valley. Being the centre point of routes to Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Tehri & New Tehri, Chamba is fast changing into the ideal interlude.It is very near to the newly made Tehri Dam.
