Mussoorie Lake (6kms) A delightful spot where paddleboats are available. It commands an enchanting view of Doon Valley and nearby villages. 61km shorts of Mussoorie on the way from Dehradun.

Gun Hill (Altitude 2122 mtrs.) Enjoy a ropeway ride to the Gun Hill, the second highest peak of Mussoorie. The thrill of the ride is memorable and offers beautiful views of the Himalayan Ranges.

Camel's Back Road (2kms) Horse-riding and walking. Sun set view of the Himalayas. A superb rock formation, with a life-like resemblance to a sitting camel can be seen from this spot.

Van Chetna Kendra (2 kms) A picnic spot and a park surrounded with pine forest and flowering shrubs. The main attraction is the wild life of the park like Ghurar, Kanakar, Himalyan Peacock, Monal etc.

Municipal Garden (4kms) A picnic Spot with a beautiful garden and an artificial mini-lake with boating facilities. By road or a pony ride and 2kms on foot on the mountain trail.

Children's Lodge (5kms) a powerful telescope is installed here and the views of the snow from this spot are exhilarating.

George Everest House (6kms) The park estate of Sir George, the surveyor general of India who had his office and residence here, Mount Everest the highest peak of the Himalayas is named after him.

Clouds End (8kms) The bungalow built in 1838 by a British Major was one of the first four buildings of Mussoorie.

Nag Devta Temple (6kms) this ancient temple, situated on Cart Road, Vehicle can go up-to temple.

Jwalaji Temple 9 km from Mussoorie.

Binog Hill (11kms-Altitude 2104mtrs): Situated on the top of the Benog Hill and has an idol of Mata Durga. The temple is surrounded by a thick forest and offers a panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks, Doon Valley and Yamuna Valley.

Bhadraj Temple (15kms) This temple dedicated to Lord Balbhadra, brother of Sri Krishna, offers a commanding views of the Doon valley and Chakrata range.

Bhatta Falls (7kms) An ideal spot for bathing and picnics.

Mossey Falls (7kms) A beautiful falls surrounded by a dense forest.

Jhari Pani Falls (8.5 kms) A beautiful waterfall set in picturesque surroundings.

Kempty Falls (15kms & altitude 4500 ft.) It is a picturesque waterfall located in the beautiful valley surrounded by High Mountains. Bath at the foot of the falls in refreshing and enjoyable for children and adults.

Yamuna Bridge (27kms) A picnic spot on the Chakrata - Barkot road and ideal for fishing. Permits for fishing can be obtained from the Divisional Forest Officer, Mussoorie.

Dhanaulti (25kms) Set in the midst of dense forests of deodar, oak and rhododendron.

Surkhanda Devi (33kms & altitude 3030mts.) An important pilgrimage centre, the temple is located on the top of the hill, 9kms from Dhanaulti and about 2kms Kaddukhal on foot. The temple precincts offer extensive views of the snow ranges and exclusive experience one can never forget.

Lakha Mandal (75kms) Past Kempty Fall, Lakha Mandal is on Yamunotri road. There are hundred of idols of archaeological importance which have been preseved by the Archaeological Survey of India. Legend has it that the Kaurvas made a shellac house and conspired to burn the Pandavas alive here.
